Bootcamp challenges every muscle in your body and with little rest in between each set; you're bound to feel the burn and intensity. By constantly moving for an hour, your body has no time to rest, therefore your burning hundreds of calories, even when you stop. It's a way to challenge your body and mind into doing a workout, which leaves no prisoners.
These types of workout help you to build confidence because it takes place in a friendly non threatening team environment where nobody is going to judge you based on your perceived fitness level.
Bootcamp is a great way to meet new like minded people. Many of the participants are expats and come from all over the world. Many of them have joined for the social element as well as the good workout that it provides.
So far we have had bootcamp participants from: Italy, Ireland, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, England, Greece, Iceland, Sweden, Poland, the USA, Canada, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Senegal, Tunisia, Russia, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Korea, China, Japan, The Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Colombia, & Argentina.
Bootcamp differs from Group PT training because the group is bigger (10 participants), and the participants aren't followed one-to-one by me.
I do both indoor and outdoor bootcamps. The indoor ones take place in my PT studio, and my outdoor ones take place at Terme di Caracalla and Villa Borghese. I also do private bootcamp classes in both the American and British Embassies.
